Circle of Blogs
I read this post on a blog belongs to miss "flowerchain" which reminds me of my own experience with blogging. These are her questions:
Who was the first person you knew (personally) with a blog?
&/or
Whose blog inspired you to start your own?
I've known about blog long before and I thought mostly teens who blog, so I didn't bother to read on blogs. But then one friend from Indonesia came here for her study and she started her blog to post her experience in US, and I ended up reading her blogs daily. One day I was browsing from blog to blog and was surprised to find out that there are a lot of mothers who blog. Interesting...
Being a mom myself, I like reading about other moms' experience in life - how they handle daily issues, raising their kids, plus some cooking tips or new recipe to try always nice (and I trust them on the result). Some blogs are really neat, informative and of course supported by lively pictures of their family. And by following their stories I was inspired to start my own stories. We have family and friends scattered all over the world, literally, and I want them to be able to know how we are doing here. So.. "blog" it is.
Enough said, and to answer miss "flowerchain" questions:
The first person I know (personally) with blog is my dear friend Mey Ling
&
I am gonna thank miss "flowerchain" especially for the inspiration to start my blog. Her blog is the top of the pick I must say.
But I also thank many other bloggers who are so inspiring and encouraging for others by sharing their motherhoods.
Blogging has been a fun ride for me, it keeps me in tune with my life as a wife and a mother. Most of all, it helps me focus more on the possitives and the goodness in life. I want someday when I read back my blog I would be reminded by many joyful memories and not too much of the depressing ones.
Just like this moment as I am writing, my son is sharing his popcorn by feeding me with his tiny hand so that my hands stay clean to type. What a JOY!
